Since 2020, we have been designing socks that bring iconic masterpieces to life, so you can step out in style with every step. With an eye for sustainability and quality, we create products that are not only beautiful to look at but also incredibly comfortable to wear. Because who says art can't be practical?
Two Friends, One Vision
We are Tako and Jesse – two friends who met during our studies at TU Delft. What started as a shared love for art and fashion grew into an idea: why should art only hang in museums when you can wear it too? Thus, Kunstsokken was born, our way of making masterpieces more accessible, literally with every step you take.
We started small, with a living room full of socks and daily trips to the post office to send packages. Now, our socks can be found in museum shops across the Netherlands and Belgium. But despite our growth, we remain true to what is really important to us: creativity, quality, and sustainability.
Creativity
At Kunstsokken, everything revolves around reinterpreting iconic masterpieces, down to the smallest detail. Each design is crafted stitch by stitch to convey the essence of the original artwork, with our own creative twist. Your socks are not just accessories – they bring art to life in a unique way.
Quality
We believe that art should not only be beautiful but also feel good. That’s why we only use organic cotton and design our socks with seamless finishing and reinforced heels and toes. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure that your socks not only look great but also last long and feel wonderful – day in, day out.
Sustainability
For us, sustainability means more than just choosing the right materials. We design socks that last longer, so you don't have to replace them as often. In collaboration with our production partner in Turkey, we use GOTS-certified organic cotton and continue to improve our processes to reduce our impact on people and the planet.

Our Commitment to Sustainability
We are a young company, and although we are not perfect yet, we think every day about how we can run Art Socks in a responsible way.
We make conscious choices, such as collaborating with REAKT, a social workshop that carefully packs our gift packaging. Additionally, we work with Dutch suppliers for our packaging, so we can keep our impact local. Since last year, we also donate a tree for every order, because we believe that small steps together can make a big difference.
